Simon et Julien Dara sont n\u00e9s en Angleterre de parents belges. Simon a obtenu un master en communication visuelle au prestigieux Royal College of Art de Londres en 2010. Il travaille aujourd’hui comme graphiste ind\u00e9pendant et directeur artistique pour diverses institutions culturelles.<\/p>\n

Julien a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 l’\u00e9cole de cin\u00e9ma INSAS (Bruxelles). Il rencontre le r\u00e9alisateur Tony Gatlif et commence \u00e0 travailler comme assistant r\u00e9alisateur sur ses films puis sur d’autres longs m\u00e9trages fran\u00e7ais. Apr\u00e8s son premier court m\u00e9trage LE SAC<\/strong>, il commence \u00e0 travailler avec son fr\u00e8re Simon.<\/p>\n

En 2016, Simon et Julien cor\u00e9alisent L’ORDINAIRE<\/strong>, leur premier court m\u00e9trage et leur premi\u00e8re collaboration. Autoproduit, ce film impressionne par son originalit\u00e9 et sa radicalit\u00e9. Refusant d’emprunter la voie de la narration classique, les deux r\u00e9alisateurs ont propos\u00e9 des \u00e9motions pures avec le son et l’image.<\/p>\n

En 2020, Simon et Julien cor\u00e9alisent LA COULEUR DES ROIS \/ THE COLOR OF KINGS<\/strong>, leur deuxi\u00e8me court-m\u00e9trage qui est actuellement en post-production. Le film a \u00e9t\u00e9 soutenu par la FWB belge, la RTBF et la fondation Thalie. Ils sont actuellement en train d’\u00e9crire leur premier long m\u00e9trage pour Boucan Film.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
